Fri, July 6, 2007 - 3:37 PMSpeaking of things "As gaeilge", we had a great July 4, party at my gaff and right before midnight, I asked our guests if anyone knew the American National Anthem.........out of the 24 of us, no one knew the words, (I'm a bad immigrant, I have now been inspired to actually learn the words) so anyway, to fill the silence, I launched into a heartfelt and rousing version of "Amahran Na bhFiann".............it was awesome!
